OLGC Inter House Sporting Carnivals
All children from Foundation to Year 6 are offered the opportunity to participate in inter-house carnivals such as:
- Term One: Senior Swimming (Years 3-6)
- Term Two: Cross Country
- Term Three: Athletics
- Term Four: Ball Games and Junior Swimming (Foundation - Year Two)
Inter-School Sport
Boys and girls in Years 5 & 6 are offered the opportunity to participate in the rich and diverse inter-school sport programme. Sports on offer include:
- Term One: Cricket, Softball & Volleyball
- Term Two: Football (Soccer), Touch Football and Netball.
The school is also involved in external competitions for:
- Touch Football (South West All Schools Cup)
- Rugby League (Development Cup)
- Rugby Union (7's)
- Ipswich Catholic School Swimming Championships
Games usually take place on Friday’s and culminate in a gala day each term.
Lockyer Zone and Darling Downs Regional Sport
All children from Years 3 to Year 6 have the opportunity to represent the Lockyer Zone in the following sports:
- Term One: Swimming, Softball, AFL, Basketball, Cricket, Netball, Golf, Tennis & Touch Football
- Term Two: Hockey, Football (Soccer), Cross Country and Rugby League
- Term Three: Athletics
- Term Four: Aquathlon
