This week we received a delivery of materials for the construction of a sustainability garden. This garden is being constructed as part of school learning project as we strive to contextualize curriculum learning at OLGC.
Our Year 6 students and teachers have been working hard and are very excited and enthusiastic to commence construction of the garden that they have helped design through their STEM learning. The students have used their knowledge and skills of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics to come up with their design and will
continue to engage in deep learning in this area as they construct, plant and study food production in the wonderful Lockyer Valley.
I look forward to supporting them on this wonderful hands-on learning opportunity.
