2021 ANZAC Day Liturgy and March

On Friday, we will celebrate an ANZAC Liturgy at 2pm in the Father John Conway Multipurpose Centre. This year we have Squadron Leader Alison Lambert, an Officer from the RAAF present as our guest speaker. The ANZAC tradition and story is a remarkable story that has helped shape the wonderful country Australia in which we live today. Whilst we remember our ANZAC’s from WWI on ANZAC Day we also remember the many men and women who currently serve our country and community through their active service. We thank all who work in the armed services for their dedication and commitment to keeping our country safe and maintaining peace around the world.

On Sunday, the Gatton ANZAC Day March will be held. OLGC will once again march this year and students are asked to assemble in North Street near the LVRC building. The march will commence at 10.30am leaving from North St with the march progressing down Railway St to the ANZAC Memorial at Littleton Park where the Gatton ANZAC Service will be held. OLGC will have a school marque set up for students. Students are to wear their formal uniform, school hat and are encouraged to bring along a water bottle for the march. Students marching are asked to assemble at 10am.
