2020 Welcome Back!

Welcome Back.jpg

Today brings the end of Alternative Education Provision as we have known it for the past five weeks and next week, we look forward to students in all year levels returning. I offer parents and carers a very big THANK YOU for all you have done in supporting your children during this time. It has not been an easy time for many and varied reasons however thanks to a whole of community effort we are delighted to be seeing all students return next week.

As all students return, we are still required to monitor and manage health advice and restrictions. We continue to ask for your support and understanding during this time and we look forward to working with families to ensure a safe, happy, and healthy community for our learners. We ask for your support in helping promote and implement the following health advice and restrictions:

  • Regular handwashing and hand sanitising. All classrooms have hand sanitiser stations installed just inside the doors. Hand soap is also available in all classrooms along with toilets.
  • Children who are unwell will be isolated and a parent or carer will be asked to collect these children from school.
  • Adults maintain 1.5m physical distancing measures and are asked to not gather inside or outside the school gates.
  • School activities- there will be no assemblies, interschool activities, camps, excursions, sports, swimming or arts events until we are advised these restrictions have been lifted.

Community health is very important, and we thank you for your anticipated support.
