2020 Day for Daniel

Day for Daniel 2020.jpg

Every year, on the last Friday of October, we participate in the Day for Daniel. This year, the Day for Daniel falls on Friday 30th October. Day for Daniel is Australia’s largest day of action to raise awareness of child safety, protection, and harm prevention, and is held to honour the memory of Daniel Morcombe.

This year we will mark the day by inviting all staff and students to wear something red – a ribbon in their hair, a tshirt or shorts, red socks or even red shoes! Like last year, there will also be a poster competition. Each class will design and create a poster advertising the Day For Daniel communicating all of the important messages: be a hero for your safety – recognise, react and report.
