National Child Protection Week invites all Australians to play their part to promote the safety and wellbeing of children and young people, acknowledging that ‘Protecting children everyone’s business’. This week supports and encourages the safety and wellbeing of Australian children and families.
During this week, we are reminded that child protection is everyone’s business and that the safety of each young person is critical. We believe that every child is made in the image and likeness of God and therefore we are committed to the safety, wellbeing and happiness of every child and young person.
Students were also reminded this week of the posters that are up in every classroom about ‘Be a Hero when it comes to your safety’ and the key words of ‘Recognise, React and Report’
